In Support of Dover Park Hospice Sunflower Charity Concert

Spread Love, Inspire Philanthropy Through Music

As you may know, Dover Park Hospice is our current chosen charity partner. In support of the hospice’s 30th anniversary, we’d like to shine a light on the “Sunflower Charity Concert 2022: Making More Moments Matter”, which Dover Park Hospice will host this year. Through this flagship event, they hope to spread love and inspire philanthropy through music and raise upwards of $1,000,000, which will enable the hospice to continue providing terminally ill patients and their families with the best palliative care. The funds will also contribute to the hospice’s move to new premises at the Integrated Care Hub, where patients will be able to receive treatment and and spend their remaining days in better comfort.

The concert will see a host of local A-list musicians including Dick Lee, Kit Chan, Jocie Guo, as well as veteran Xin Yao singers and up-and-coming artistes perform songs across different periods and genres to celebrate the ebbs and flows of life, and to thank sponsors and donors.

The “Sunflower Charity Concert 2022” is held on October 20, 2022, at the Esplanade Theatre Hall.
Bookings are open to public via SISTIC.

ABOUT DOVER PARK HOSPICE

About Dover Park Hospice

Founded in 1992, Dover Park Hospice (DPH) is Singapore’s first purpose-built hospice, catering to those nearing their end of life’s journey. As a secular, non-profit organisation, we open our doors to people of every age, race, religion, and income level. Through a transdisciplinary team comprising doctors and nurses specialising in palliative care, medical social workers, art and music therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and pastoral counsellor, the team jointly assess, discuss and plan for the care of the patients including caregivers’ support.

Over the years, our premises have served as a tranquil sanctuary for over 12,000 patients and families as we provide holistic palliative care in meeting their physical, emotional, psycho-social and spiritual needs. To complement our inpatient service and home care programme, we have extended our services in providing integrated care to our patients with the operation of our new Day Care to ensure continuity of care in a seamless manner over time and in different care settings.
