A fairytale-inspired jewellery collection in collaboration with Jeraldine Chan,
co-founder and lead KOL of MyBKK Shop.
Create your own happily-ever-after.
“Dreams Come True”, our latest collaboration with Jeraldine Chan, co-founder and lead KOL of MyBKK Shop, is a jewellery collection that’s inspired by her favourite fairytale growing up: Cinderella.
The whimsical pieces of the collection feature symbols of love, magic and empowerment drawn from the classical tale to offer a modern twist to the message we wish to convey to young girls and women everywhere. Each piece is designed to tell a tale of overcoming, transformation, and believing that we all have the power within to be our own knight in shining armour, to make our own dreams come true.
ByCanary is committed to promoting social awareness through our designer collaborations. Our latest partnership with Jeraldine supports Anglican Family Centre (AFC), a service of Singapore Anglican Community Services, which helps women and their children affected by domestic violence. AFC promotes change in their lives by providing confidential, safe and temporary accommodation for up to 100 women and their children. 10% of the sales proceeds will be donated to the AFC. We encourage our customers to support this important cause with us, together we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence.
The centrepiece of this collection portrays the familiar Pumpkin Carriage as a diamond pendant with a pink sapphire heart at the core. It’s a charming reminder for its owner to trust her own magic. It makes for a pretty and delightful gift to inspire and motivate daughters and nieces.
The Tiara ring is another must-have as an elegant symbol of self-celebration and empowerment. Available in two styles — an understated classic design and a bold statement with a heart-shaped motif — the rings embolden its wearer to live from a place of love instead of fear and doubt, a beautiful reminder of her courage and beauty. The rings may be worn as part of a stacking set for a more intricate and personalised look.
Finally, the pearl-and-diamond earrings are a call for every girl and woman to embrace their multitudes. Mix it up, have fun, play, get creative and be your wonderfully unique self. Blending classic elegance and contemporary style, pearls and diamonds come together impeccably to give your ensemble and confidence the perfect finishing touch.

Obsolete are the fairytales that tell little girls to wait for their Prince Charming to rescue them. It’s 2023 and fairytales are no longer a fantasy. Instead, we buy our own diamonds and Vivier slippers, and we have the power to make our Dreams Come True.
Learn about the inspiration behind Jeraldine's collection:
1. Can you tell us a bit about yourself? How did you become the entrepreneur you are today?
Hi. My name is Jeraldine, also known as Queen J on all my social channels. I started My BKK Shop, a Facebook livestream page at the start of pandemic in March 2020. I wanted to do something that I am passionate about, and that was how it came into being.
|
2. What does fashion mean to you? Wearing what you feel pretty and confident in, and not to be influenced by what other people say, think, say or feel. |
3. Do you have any favourite fashion icons? |
4. How would you describe your style, and how big a role does jewellery play in your every-day? I would say my style as funky and yet feminine. I super love bling, so jewellery is an essential part of my everyday style. I cannot leave my house without putting a full set of jewellery — earrings, necklace, bracelets and rings, the whole works. I’d feel uneasy, like some part of me is missing, without my jewellery. |
5. What inspired your collaboration with ByCanary and the designs in this “Creams Come True” collection? |
6. What is the most important thing you look for when you’re shopping for jewellery? I look out for unique designs. |
7. Can you offer a few tips on accessorising? For example, how would you style some of the pieces you’ve designed with ByCanary? |
8. Can you tell us more about the charity organisation you are supporting through the “Dreams Come True” collection? |
10% of the proceeds will be donated to Anglican Family Centre, a service of Singapore Anglican Community Services.

About Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS)
The origins of Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS) date back to the 1950s with the setting up of a clinic by Mrs Catharine Eng Neo Thomas, a nurse and the wife of Mr Francis Thomas, then Principal of St. Andrew’s School. The clinic served villagers living in the Potong Pasir area. In the 1960s, student counselling services were introduced through the efforts of Mr and Mrs Thomas, with the first office located at St. Margaret’s Primary School. The Singapore Anglican Welfare Council (SAWC) was launched in 1967 to meet the needs of the elderly, the lonely, the sick and the poor. Services under SAWC included the Wilkie Road Children’s Home, drug rehabilitation centres and the Christian Outreach to the Handicapped. In the 1980s, SAWC developed its Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services, which grew to become its anchor service. SAWC was subsequently restructured and renamed SACS in 2006.
About Anglican Family Centre (AFC)
In 1997, SACS converted East Coast Care Centre (ECCC), a crisis centre under SACS for persons with mental health conditions, into a family crisis shelter to meet rising demand then. When ECCC closed in 2004, St. George’s Place was set to take over the baton of the crisis refuge ministry. Going the second mile, St. George’s Place was relocated to SACS Family Care Centre (FCC), a new and larger compound to serve more families in need. In 2018, FCC was renamed to Anglican Family Centre (AFC). AFC is missioned to protect and serve women and their children who are victims of domestic violence, regardless of race, culture or religion. AFC promotes change in their lives by providing confidential, safe and temporary accommodation for up to 100 women and their children. Casework, counselling and programmes are provided to empower families and enhance their independence and resilience for integration into the community. For more information, please visit www.sacs.org.sg or Anglican Family Centre
